Robbers take firearms from house

Police are looking for robbers who stole a box containing eight weapons from a private residence.

The firearms were taken from a house in Wangford New Road, Lakenheath, between 1600 and 2200 BST on Sunday.

Thieves took a metal cabinet containing four air rifles, three 12-bore shotguns and a 16-bore shotgun, along with jewellery, a camera and fishing gear.

Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to contact Suffolk Police or Crimestoppers.
