Pro-hunt campaigners have demonstrated at the official opening of the new Ipswich Crown Court building.
About 60 pro-hunt protesters gave Lord Falconer a noisy reception
A group of about 60 protesters from the Countryside Alliance turned up on Friday to lobby the Lord Chancellor.
Lord Falconer, visiting the town to open the new £14m court building, was given a noisy reception.
Liz Mort, of the Countryside Alliance,
said: "His party is threatening to bamboozle through a law which would make people like me criminals."
Lord Falconer, who agreed to meet the campaigners, said: "They are perfectively free to demonstrate but the way our system works Parliament makes the decision. "
Hunt supporters have pledged to keep up the pressure on ministers while legislation to ban hunting goes through Parliament.
