Baby dies after weekend accident

A 13-month-old baby girl has died after a car crash in Suffolk at the weekend.

The baby, who was taken to Great Ormond Street Hospital in London with critical injuries on Saturday, died on Monday.

The baby's sisters, aged seven and five, and their mother suffered minor injuries in the accident on the A12 near Blythburgh on Saturday afternoon.

Their Fiat Brava, the only vehicle involved, crashed into a tree at Henham. Police want to hear from anyone who witnessed the accident.
