Exhibition against windfarm plan
Wind farm turbines
The six turbines would be 300ft high
Campaigners opposed to the building of a windfarm on an old airfield are launching a touring exhibition to highlight their objections.

Saxon Windpower wants to build the six-turbine electricity generating station on Parham airfield in Norfolk.

But the No Windfarm at Parham group says onshore windfarms do not provide any local benefits and are noisy.

Saxon Windpower says the 300ft turbines could provide power for thousands of homes in the area.

The NOWAP group, which says it is not against turbines as long as they are sited offshore, launched a series of exhibitions at Parham Village Hall on Saturday.
