Funeral of teenager hit by car
Streets fell silent as the funeral procession passed by
The funeral for one of two boys who died after being hit by a car on Bishop's Hill in Ipswich has taken place.

Best friends Scott Towler and Dean Bloomfield, who were both 15, died three weeks ago when they were heading for a day out.

Scott's funeral was held at the St Mary of The Elms Church in the town on Friday.

His family had wanted as many people as possible to join him on his final journey.

Hundreds stood in silence as the funeral procession, led by a horse-drawn carriage, made its way through Ipswich.

A service for Dean is due to be held next week.

Zulfcar Ali, 33, from Boyton Road, Ipswich, has been charged with manslaughter in connection with their deaths.
