The 33-year-old man charged with killing two teenagers failed to appear in court on Saturday.

He was too ill to attend the court hearing.

Zulfcar Ali, of Boyton Road, Ipswich, Suffolk, has been charged with two counts of manslaughter following the deaths of two 15-year-olds.

Friends Dean Bloomfield and Scott Towler died after being hit by a car in Ipswich on Friday 30 May.

Mr Ali was unable to attend court last Thursday, also because of ill-health.

It is yet to be established when he will make a court appearance.
