Man attacked in street by youths

A man had to be taken to hospital after being attacked by a group of youths in a Stoke-on-Trent street.

Police said the 46-year-old man was set upon by a number of youths in Brookside Drive, in Blurton, on Saturday night and suffered head and facial injuries.

A spokesperson for Staffordshire Police said one person had been arrested in relation to the attack.

They urged anyone who saw the incident or who had information about it to contact officers.
