A 29-year-old man has been charged with murder after an incident outside a Staffordshire cinema.

Przemyslaw Humaniak, 30, from Burton-upon-Trent, was found injured outside the town's Cineworld in Guild Street, on Sunday and died in hospital.

Zenon Robert Garbaty of Branston Road, Burton, was charged with his murder at the town's magistrates' court.

He was remanded in custody and will appear before Stafford Crown Court on 9 November.

Mr Humaniak, who worked in the town, was married with two children - a girl aged three and a one-year-old son.

A statement from his family described Mr Humaniak as a "loving husband and devoted father".

Three other men who were arrested over the incident were released without charge.
