Parents warned over measles jab

Parents in Staffordshire have been advised to make sure their children are immunised against measles.

There were 14 suspected cases of the disease reported in the county during November.

In Cheshire a vaccination programme has begun following reports of more than 60 cases.

The Health Protection Agency said the safest way to avoid children catching measles was to ensure that they received two doses of the MMR jab.
