Woman accused of stabbing murder

A 35-year-old woman has been charged with murder after a man was fatally stabbed in Staffordshire.

Nicola Jane Coleman, of Burwaye Close, Lichfield, appeared at Burton Magistrates' Court accused of the murder of Mark Cannon, 44.

Mr Cannon, from Lichfield, died in hospital from a stab wound to the neck after being injured on 29 September.

Ms Coleman was remanded in custody to appear at Stafford Crown Court on 17 October.
