Moorland flood warnings cancelled

Flood warnings have been downgraded in parts of Staffordshire following heavy rain over the past two days.

People living in the Staffordshire Moorlands had been warned rivers could burst their banks threatening property but that threat has since subsided.

More heavy rain has been forecast by the Met Office for Staffordshire over the next week.

Staffordshire Fire and Rescue said it was not needed to help people following heavy rain on Saturday.
