Crash suspects released on bail

Two people arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving have been released on police bail.

Andrew Gibson, 22, and Lee Kalsevicius, 28, both from Stoke-on-Trent, died when their car left a road in the city and rolled down an embankment.

Emergency services were called to the A500 between Hanley and Tunstall at about 2240 BST on Thursday.

A 25-year-old man and a 35-year-old woman were arrested in connection with the incident and later released.

Police have recovered another vehicle believed to have been involved in the crash.
