Fire breaks out at disused venue

Fire crews are damping down after a fire broke out at a disused music venue in Staffordshire overnight.

Up to 25 firefighters tackled the blaze at Lomax Entertainments in Hill Street, Stoke-on-Trent.

Roads around the building are still closed leading to diversions for anyone who is trying to get through the area.

Fire crews will remain at the scene for most of the morning. Investigations will begin later into the cause of the blaze.
