Ministers to see son's drug film

A woman whose son died after 17 years of heroin addiction wants a film about his life to be shown in schools.

Ben Rogers from Alton, in the Staffordshire Moorlands, filmed himself and his family as he tried to give up the drug before his death last year.

His mother, Ann, is to show the film to government ministers next week as part of her campaign to get the film shown to school children.

She will also meet Home Office minister Vernon Coaker.
