Three released in murder inquiry

Police investigating the murder of a teenager in Stoke-on-Trent have released three people without charge.

The body of Samantha Bennett, of Queens Avenue, Tunstall, Stoke-on-Trent, was found behind a house in Blake Street, Burslem, on Wednesday.

A post-mortem examination revealed the 19-year-old died from head injuries.

Staffordshire Police arrested five people over the death. A 21-year-old man and a 35-year-old man have been bailed pending further inquiries.

Police have urged anyone with information about the teenager's death to contact them or Crimestoppers.
