Postal workers meet over closure
Postal workers are to discuss how to respond to plans to close a sorting and delivery office.

The evening meeting will cover Royal Mail plans to close the office in Leek Road, Stoke-on-Trent, and open a new facility elsewhere.

The Communication Workers' Union says the move would mean no post was sorted in the city and dozens of sorting jobs would be cut.

But Royal Mail has said there would be no compulsory redundancies.
