Daughter in court over body find
A woman from Stoke-on-Trent charged with the murder of her father has appeared in court.

Francis McIlreavy, 75, was found stabbed at a house on Appleton Close in Biddulph in the city during Monday evening.

June McIlreavy, 50, of Appleton Close, appeared at Fenton Magistrates' Court in Stoke-on-Trent on Thursday.

She was remanded in custody and is due to appear at Stafford Crown Court on 22 February.
