Teaching couple faked exam papers
Two married teachers have been found guilty of faking pupils' exam results to meet government targets.

Anne and Michael Gunn, from Moorhill Primary School, Cannock, were found guilty of unprofessional conduct by the General Teaching Council on Thursday.

Mr Gunn, of Top Road, Acton Trussell, who had destroyed some English and maths books, was suspended for a year.

Mrs Gunn, who altered literacy exams, will be supervised when dealing with exam papers.

She added some full stops and capital letters to pupils' literacy exams in a bid to give them better scores, the hearing in Birmingham was told.

The accusations against the two teachers all relate to the summer of 2005.
