Event for new memorial volunteers
The national Armed Forces Memorial at Alrewas
The Queen attended the dedication of the memorial
The National Memorial Arboretum in Staffordshire, which has appealed for extra volunteers, staged an information event on Sunday.

Sixty additional volunteers are needed at the arboretum in Alrewas following a rise in visitor numbers since the Armed Forces Memorial opened in October.

The memorial, a £6m stone circle, bears the names of 16,000 service personnel who have died since World War II.

People had "no-obligation" chats with staff about volunteering.

The Queen, the Duke of Edinburgh and the Prince of Wales attended the dedication of the Armed Forces Memorial on 12 October 2007.
