Man killed on busy road is named

Police have identified a man who was killed when his car was in collision with a lorry in Staffordshire.

Saifudin Kapasi, 19, from Baldwins Gate died at the scene of the accident on the A53 Whitmore Road in Newcastle-under-Lyme on Monday.

The section of road, on a motorway bridge, was shut for several hours following the accident.

Police have urged anyone who witnessed the crash or may have information concerning it, to contact them.
