A pottery museum has joined a trail which links places of industrial importance across Europe.

The Gladstone Pottery Museum in Longton, Stoke-on-Trent, has been given a place on the European Route of Industrial Heritage.

The trail covers 60 sites across the UK, Germany and Netherlands, all thought to be important monuments to the Industrial Revolution.

Other sites include Shropshire's Ironbridge Gorge Museum.
