Royal Mail said 150 managers aim to complete deliveries
Royal Mail staff are on strike again in Stoke-on-Trent over the sacking of a colleague.

The strike, from Friday until Monday in Burslem, follows six days of action earlier this month, Royal Mail said.

It said about 150 managers aim to complete all deliveries in the area during the action.

The Communication Workers Union said Royal Mail should not have dismissed the colleague but it hoped to resolve the issue to stop further disruption.

In January, staff walked out over two days after a colleague was suspended for alleged "aggressive behaviour" towards a female worker.

This followed a precautionary suspension of an employee in Burslem in December.

The female staff member was brought in to help with a backlog of Christmas post due to strikes in December.

Officials have apologised for any disruption during the industrial action.
