Stafford has been awarded a grant of £453,000 after coming in the top dozen councils for economic growth in 2005.
The government grant gives local authorities an incentive to encourage business growth in their areas.
The town has already seen supported projects at Prime Point and the Staffordshire Technology Park.
The council has also worked with businesses to help growth within the borough at Stone Business Park, Whitebridge Estate and Tollgate Park.
Councillor Doug Davis, cabinet member for planning and regeneration, said: "It will help to deliver increased prosperity and the long-term economic sustainability of the area.
"The borough will continue this excellent growth through 2006 with the opening of a managed workspace scheme at St Alban's Road, Stafford, and at Stafford Business Village, Beaconside.
"It's our intention to continue to place Stafford on the map as a key destination for doing business."
