Development may create 2,500 jobs
About 2,500 jobs could be created under plans to develop a business district on the site of the tallest building in Stoke-on-Trent.

The site of the 18-storey Unity House would be turned into shops, apartments and a public square.

Advantage West Midlands, which is paying for the building's demolition, has revealed outline plans and said most jobs should go to local people.

Unity House was built in 1973, but has been empty for 12 years.
