Motorcyclist dies after collision

A motorcyclist has died and another two people have been injured in a crash.

Emergency crews were called to the collision which happened on the A51 in Longdon, Staffordshire, just after 1300 BST on Sunday.

Police say the rider of a black Yamaha motorbike collided with a white Citroen Zara car.

He was taken to Good Hope Hospital, in Birmingham, where he later died. The male driver of the car and female passenger suffered minor injuries.

Staffordshire Police are appealing for witnesses.
