Campus death student named

An 18-year-old student who died after a party at Staffordshire University has been named by police.

Alex Doji, from Cambridgeshire, was taken to the University Hospital of North Staffordshire after the party on the Stoke-on-Trent campus on Thursday night.

He died in the early hours of Friday.

Staffordshire Police say they are not treating the death as suspicious, but are making inquiries on behalf of the coroner.

The university says it is carrying out its own investigation.

It is also offering counselling to students who feel they need it.
