Football fans taking their cars to matches are being warned by police to lock up their vehicles.
It follows a successful campaign by West Midlands Police last year where high profile policing led to a number of arrests.
Motorists are advised to secure all locks and ensure nothing is left on display.
Pc Grant Moss from West Midlands Police says fans attending matches can help prevent crime themselves.
He said: "We want people to enjoy the new season and not become victims of vehicle crime while they are in the stadiums.
"By taking a few common sense precautions you can do a lot to prevent yourself from becoming a victim.
"Remove all valuables from the vehicle, including the front of the radio
security panel, which you should take with you.
"Put coats or jackets in the boot and remember to lock all doors, windows and the sunroof."
