Man attacked during carjacking

A driver has been attacked by a gang who stole his car in east Staffordshire.

The incident happened about 2100 BST on Tuesday at the Imex Business Park in Shobnall Road, Burton.

The victim was dragged out of his black Volkswagen Golf by four men who pulled up beside him in a white Ford Escort.

He was searched for jewellery then headbutted three times before three of the thieves got into his car and drove away.

The owner tried to open the door and boot of the car but was unable to stop the men.

Staffordshire Police have described three of the offenders as black and aged in their 20s.

They say two of the men wore blue tops and the third wore a white fleece.
