Runaway bull rounded up
A one-and-a-half ton bull that roamed the Staffordshire Moorlands for three days has been captured.

The two-year-old Red Limousin fled from a farm near Calton on Saturday afternoon.

It was spotted by a cyclist 24 hours later near the village of Waterhouses in the Manifold Valley.

A farmer finally rounded the animal up on Tuesday.

It is thought the bull, who had been on a halter, had been taken out to service cows when he made off.

Pc Mark Sherwin, from Waterhouses police station, said it was an unusual case to deal with.
