The woman pilot survived the crash of her light aircraft
The woman pilot of a light aircraft has been taken to hospital after being injured when the plane crashed in a field in West Sussex.

Emergency services were called when the plane came down in a field at Oving, near Chichester, on Sunday morning.

The woman was taken to St Richard's Hospital in Chichester. There were no other occupants in the aircraft.

Sussex Police and officers from the Air Accident Investigations Branch are investigating the cause of the crash.
