Bingo hall robbers threaten staff
Three men are being hunted after several hundred pounds was stolen in a raid on a bingo hall in Sussex.

The gang, wearing black tights over their faces, entered the Gala Bingo, in Freshfield Road, Brighton, on Sunday night, threatening staff with knives.

After they fled with the cash, a black Mazda car was seen being driven in an erratic manner towards Eastern Road.

Appealing for witnesses, Sussex Police said the robbery had left members of staff and customers very shaken.

Second robbery

The three men were described as black, and all were about 6ft (1.8m) tall and of slim build.

One man was wearing a cream zip-up jumper with what was described as a Scandinavian pattern, blue jeans, white trainers and gloves.

The second man was wearing a brown jacket, possibly leather, with knitted cuffs. He was also wearing dark trousers, white trainers and had light coloured gloves or socks on his hands.

The third man was wearing a baseball style jacket with the New York Yankees logo, tan-coloured jogging bottoms, white trainers, a dark coloured baseball cap and gloves.

Police are investigating whether the incident is linked to a robbery at the same premises in August.
