Van driver 'targeted pedestrian'
A van driver drove the wrong way around a roundabout and deliberately tried to splash a pedestrian with puddle water, but hit the man, police have said.

Police said the driver did not stop after a wing mirror hit the 45-year-old in the chest in Leatherhead, Surrey.

Acting Sgt Steve Scholey said what the driver did "was certainly not funny".

He said if the victim had been a child, the impact could have killed them. The pedestrian was not seriously injured on Sunday, but the van lost the mirror.
