Airline worker fails breath test
An airline cabin crew member has been arrested at Gatwick Airport for failing a breath test.

Thomas Cook Airlines said their employee had not yet started work when he was breathalysed following suspicions he had consumed alcohol.

A spokeswoman said the man had been questioned by police and the airline was carrying out a full investigation.

She refused to say whether the man was a pilot. He has not yet been charged.

"Thomas Cook Airlines operate a zero-tolerance policy towards alcohol and has strict procedures in place for all flight deck and cabin crew personnel," she added.

Sussex Police said they were awaiting the results of tests.
