Man, 50, charged after body found

John McKenna was killed by a single stab wound to the back

A 50-year-old man has appeared in court charged with the murder of a man whose body was found at a flat in Surrey.

The body of John McKenna, also aged 50, was found at the address in School Lane in Egham on Monday afternoon.

Mr McKenna, who died of a stab wound to the back, was divorced with three grown up children.

John Churchill, from nearby Englefield Green, appeared before Woking Magistrates' Court on Wednesday. He was remanded in custody.
