Dr Akinrolabu was a senior house officer at St Richard's

A hospital doctor offered to carry out an illegal abortion on his married lover in his own flat, the General Medical Council (GMC) has been told.
Dr Richard Akinrolabu produced a tray of medical equipment at his bedsit on Valentine's Day last year, it heard.
Dr Akinrolabu, a senior house officer at St Richard's Hospital, Chichester, West Sussex, had been having an affair with the woman since December 2004.
He admits the affair but denies suggesting the illegal abortion.
'Distressed and hysterical'
He also denies having sex without the woman's consent and assaulting her.
The GMC Fitness to Practise panel was told that the woman, known as Ms A, became distressed and hysterical after finding out on 10 February she was pregnant.
She was convinced Dr Akinrolabu was the father because they had had unprotected sex.
It is alleged that on one occasion when she was distressed the doctor forced her to have sex against her will.
On 14 February Ms A went to the flat expecting to be taken to an abortion clinic but instead Dr Akinrolabu offered to carry out the operation himself.
"I got cross and told him he was unethical and it was illegal in our country to carry out such things," Ms A said.
The hearing continues.
