Motorists who may have seen a robbery at a Little Chef restaurant in Surrey are being urged to contact police.
A male member of staff at the premises on the A22 at Godstone suffered facial injuries when he was attacked by three men in the car park on Saturday night.
He was dragged back into the restaurant where the offenders filled a holdall with a large sum of cash from the safe.
The three men were all described as white, and wore black balaclavas and black gloves.

Officers believe they fled from the scene in a vehicle.
Two of the suspects were about 5ft 10in tall and were wearing zip-up sports tops, one of which was red and the other sky blue.
The third suspect was slightly shorter, but of a larger build, and was wearing a black leather jacket.
Anyone driving past the restaurant at about 2200 GMT on Saturday and who remembers seeing the gang or their getaway car is asked to contact Surrey Police.
