The trial of a man accused of murdering a fellow employee at a McDonald's restaurant in West Sussex during a children's party has been postponed.

Jackie Marshall, 57, of Southbourne, died at the fast food outlet in Terminus Road, Chichester, where she had worked for 15 years, on 16 April.

Shane Freer, 20, of Batchmere, denies stabbing the grandmother to death and was due to stand trial in January.

The case has been adjourned while expert reports are completed.
