A 14-year-old girl has been charged in connection with the stabbing of a pupil in the canteen at a school in Surrey.
Natashia Jackman, 15, was attacked with a pair of scissors at Collingwood College, Camberley, and needed surgery on her left eyelid.
The 14-year-old has been charged with inflicting grievous bodily harm with intent and bailed to appear before Woking Youth Court next Wednesday.
Two other girls, aged 14 and 15, were questioned but released on police bail.
College principal Jerry Oddie described the stabbing, which happened on Thursday, as "shocking and appalling".
Natashia was discharged from hospital following the surgery.
