Muslim women embark on peace walk
Muslim women in West Sussex are leading a "peace walk" through their town on Sunday, to try and encourage unity in the wake of the London bomb attacks.

Organiser Yasmin Khan arranged the march in Crawley with her friends after some of them were subjected to racist remarks and shouts of "bombers".

The walk starts out at 1500 BST from Memorial Gardens finishing at Southgate playing fields.

Crawley MP Laura Moffatt will speak alongside religious and civic leaders.

'Work together'

Ms Khan urged people of all ages and races to join the peace walk.

"We want to work together," she told the BBC News website.

"Our message is that we are one big community and we all need to fight this hate together.

"The majority of Muslims disagree with what's happened and totally condemn the bombings.

"Our religion is all about peace."
