Support march for missing student
Solidarity march for Eddie Gibson in Brighton
The family have twice travelled to Cambodia to search for Eddie
Family and friends of a missing Sussex student have held a march of support as the search for him continues.

Eddie Gibson, 20, was last heard from in Cambodia on 24 October 2004, when he e-mailed his mother to say he was due to be flying home.

His family now fear he may have fallen foul of armed gangs in the capital Phnom Penh.

More than 100 people walked from Devil's Dyke near Brighton on Sunday in a show of solidarity for the Gibsons.

The area is where Eddie and his brothers went on sponsored walks during their time at St Christopher's School in Hove.

Holiday romance

His mother, Jo Gibson-Clarke, said: "It's just fantastic to have all these people that just want to show their support for us and the rest of the family."

The last reported sighting in Phnom Penh was by a Cambodian girl called Ami who had a holiday romance with Eddie.

His e-mail said he would be flying back into the UK on 1 November, but he never arrived when his family went to meet him at Heathrow airport.

He had travelled to Cambodia with £3,000 in cash and his father, Mike Gibson, said he could "have been robbed, with serious consequences".
