East Sussex County Council is hoping to maintain high standards in its internet services after gaining awards from the Royal National Institute for the Blind.
The council's main website, and its e-library service, were both awarded the RNIB's See It Right logo.
It means the charity believes the site is accessible to everyone, regardless of their abilities or the technology at their disposal.
However, the logo is only valid for a year and requires renewal.
The RNIB says websites must be submitted for annual re-checks in order to keep the logo.
Councillor Bob Tidy, cabinet member for community services, said the awards demonstrated the council's efforts to make its online services available to all.
