Eggs thrown from truck hit girl
A nine-year-old girl has been hit in the face by eggs thrown by the occupants of a passing truck.

Surrey Police said the girl was walking with her younger sister and parents on Sunday at 2130 BST in White Rose Lane, Woking, when she was hit by the eggs.

Police said the attack was totally unprovoked and resulted in the child suffering grazing and bruising.

The eggs were thrown by one of three people in a dark red pick-up truck which drove past the family.

A Surrey police spokeswoman, said: "This was a totally unprovoked attack on a child who suffered pain and discomfort from her injuries and police are anxious to trace the offenders."

The occupants of the truck have been described as white, aged 18 to 19 years old, two of whom were wearing baseball caps.
