Charges against John Leslie were dropped in August 2003

John Leslie is to return to the limelight as a stage actor in a touring production of Pride and Prejudice, it has been revealed.
The former TV star will appear with Rula Lenska in the adaptation of Jane Austen's novel, opening its six-week run in Guildford on 14 September.
Leslie will be playing the caddish Mr Wickham rather than hero Mr Darcy.
Despite his limited acting experience, director Sue Pomeroy said Leslie was "perfect" for the role.
Extensive audition
The former presenter of Blue Peter and Wheel of Fortune was abruptly dropped from hosting ITV's This Morning show in October 2002 after allegations of indecent assault.
He was cleared of all charges against him in August 2003.

I am absolutely delighted to be offered the part and I'm really looking forward to it

Director Ms Pomeroy said: "Having demonstrated his ability and suitability for the role, we see no reason to deny him the opportunity of moving forward with his career.
"He is a working actor getting on with his job.
"We put him through an extensive audition process where he read three scenes with the young actress already in the cast.
'Reasonable salary'
"John quickly proved in that audition that he is perfect casting for Wickham.
"We were very impressed with his ability."
Leslie would be "on a reasonable salary", she added.
He described the acting role as a "fantastic opportunity for me".
"I am absolutely delighted to be offered the part and I'm really looking forward to it," he said.
"The cast have already been very supportive."
The show will also star former Dr Who Sylvester McCoy and will tour for six weeks, playing in Guildford, Edinburgh, Windsor, Westcliff and Greenwich.
