The funeral of an adventure instructor who died after becoming entangled in her harness on an aerial slide has taken place.
The service for Tanya Bocking, 41, of east Brighton, was held at the Woodvale Crematorium in Brighton.
Miss Bocking died as she prepared for a teaching session with a cerebral palsy sufferer at Blackland Farm activity centre, in East Grinstead, West Sussex, on Wednesday 10 December.
She was on a 'zip wire', or aerial runway, when she became entangled in her own harness.
Her companions were unable to free her and she was cut down by West Sussex Fire and Rescue.
Miss Bocking, who was described as safety conscious by her bosses, had worked as the operations manager for the Brighton-based charity Adventure Unlimited since 1997.
She joined the firm, which runs events and camps for up to 2,000 disadvantaged youngsters each year, when she was recovering from ME.
The 122-acre Blackland Farm site, made up of woodland and fields, is run by Girlguiding UK.
Tanya leaves behind her partner Kim, brothers Nat and Jub, sister Susan and mother Diana.
