Police have charged a father and son in connection with the death of a man after an alleged row at a petrol station.
Colin Stewart, 32, died on Wednesday, having been on a life support machine since Saturday night.
James Venn, 23, of Highfield Drive, Hurstpierpoint, has been charged with manslaughter, Sussex Police said on Thursday.
His father, Mark Venn, 44, of Street Lane, Ardingly, has been charged with a public order offence.
The charge relates to intent to cause harassment, alarm or distress, or using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour.
Both men are due to appear at Crawley Magistrates' Court on Friday morning.
James Venn is being held in custody overnight and Mark Venn has been given conditional police bail, a police spokesman said.
The incident happened at the Esso Petrol Station in Franklyn Road, Haywards Heath, West Sussex.
Mr Stewart died three days after surgery to remove a blood clot on his brain.
