Four in court over fatal shooting

Four men have appeared in court charged in connection with a shooting in Sheffield which left one man dead and three others with gunshot wounds.

James Kamara, 22, was shot in Brunswick Street, Broomhall, on 1 July.

The four men, all from the Sheffield area, have been charged with conspiracy to murder another man, police said.

Samael Thompson, 18, Tobias Thompson, 26, Aaron Storey, 21 and Barrington Broomfield, 21, were remanded in custody by Sheffield magistrates.

They are next due to appear at Sheffield Crown Court on 16 July.

Police said both Tobias and Samael Thompson were from the Firth Park area.

Mr Storey is from the Shirecliffe area and Mr Broomfield is from the Crookesmoor area.
