Funeral for car incident victim

The funeral has taken place of a man who was hit by a car after an apparent confrontation with teenagers.

The service for Jonathan Harper, 47, a food packer from Dinnington, South Yorkshire, was held in St Leonard's Church, Dinnington, on Wednesday.

A boy aged 15, who cannot be named, has been remanded in custody by Rotherham magistrates accused of manslaughter.

Mr Harper was struck by a car in North Anston on Friday, 15 May. Tests showed he died from multiple injuries.
