More than 100 workers are facing redundancy in Doncaster after electrical firm Miller Brothers went into administration.
Some 30 staff have already lost their jobs as the showroom and its website business have run into trouble. Another 80 posts are at risk.
The business will continue trading until the end of January while the administrators PKF try to find a buyer.
But a PKF spokesman warned that it was "unlikely" a buyer would be found.
"I think it is going to be challenging in the current economic climate," he said.
"I think it is unlikely, but obviously it is something we will try to achieve if possible to try to preserve jobs."
The collapse of Woolworths, for which Miller Brothers provided online retail services, was a major factor in the firm going into administration.
