Vote for £95,000 road improvement

People in Sheffield have voted for which roads will be improved first as part of a council improvement scheme.

Bradfield Road topped the 'Driving Me Crazy' online poll, set up by Sheffield City Council, with 358 votes from the 1,000 people who took part.

A council spokesman said it would work through the list of 20 roads, beginning with Bradfield Road next month.

The selection was made based on council suggestions for road safety schemes and traffic management issues.

The council decided the shortlist from 650 roads initially suggested by the public.
