Vicar admits child porn charges

A South Yorkshire vicar has pleaded guilty to 17 child pornography charges.

The Rev Adrian Fereday, 50, who serves the Rotherham parishes of Woodsetts, Firbeck and Letwell, admitted 16 counts of making indecent images of a child.

The offences took place over a three-month period last year. He also admitted one charge of possessing indecent images of children.

Fereday was released on bail at Sheffield Crown Court and is due to return for sentencing on 7 August.
